CACOR’s mission is to encourage and enable Canadians to explore, understand, and advocate for the sustainability of the biosphere, its species, and human wellbeing, through research and communication about the issues that compose our planetary crisis.

In keeping with that mission, our Discussion Forums provide a respectful space that facilitates that communication and exploration of ideas.  As such, we hold the following expectations for all interactions here:

• We acknowledge the valuable time of our colleagues and strive to only post material that is relevant to our mission.
  
  
• We constructively debate and evaluate ideas, not persons.  We do not engage in ad hominem critiques.  We do not disparage the personal intelligence, background, or experience of our colleagues.
  
  
• We agree that any form of discrimination, aggression, inappropriate or harmful conduct will not be tolerated and understand CACOR Forum Moderators will take immediate action.
