Gifting Memberships

Anyone can gift a one-year Associate CACOR Membership to anyone!  You don't need to be a member to create this gift, and the recipient does not need to apply.  The cost is $50.

The process is simple, and the recipient will receive a gift certificate, conveying the following privileges:

- Access to the CACOR website and resources (CanadianCOR.com)

- Invitations to CACOR open events and CACOR Live Sessions

- Subscription to the weekly Stay Informed newsletter

- Access to all past CACOR Live Sessions and YouTube videos

- An account and profile on the members website (Members.CanadianCOR.com)

- Read and write access to selected online forums and discussion groups

- CACOR Committee member eligibility

Here's how to send a Gift Associate Membership:

We created an 'event' called Gift Associate Membership.  This was the easiest way for us to capture customized information and capture a $50 'ticket price'.  (It's not really an event, obviously.)

1. When you go to that 'event' page, you will be prompted to 'REGISTER'.
   
   
2. Click the REGISTER button.
   
   
3. The next screen will show you your email address.  [If you are not already a Contact, the field will be blank, so enter YOUR email address (not the recipient's address).]  Click the NEXT button.
   
   
4. You will then get a registration screen that allows you to specify information about the Gift Membership Recipient.  Once you have entered what you know, the NEXT button will allow you to pay the $50.

That's it!  We will take care of the rest.

Here's what will happen:

The Recipient will receive a PDF certificate by email, announcing your generous gift (CCd to yourself), as well as the standard Associate welcome package; they will be subscribed to the Stay Informed weekly newsletter; and you will receive a charitable tax receipt for the full amount.
